Heritage crafts as a journey
Originally I'm a painter, but since many years I embrace the crafts of spinning and weaving. It is a journey that connects me to the roots of our ancestors, a heritage that I cherish with love and gratitude. I'm fully dedicated to the crafts and keep exploring the deep-rooted traditions.
Threads of life
Being a weaver makes humble as I'm just one piece of thread in a long heritage. Thousands of weavers and spinners before me have opened the path. It touches my heart, soul and life.
The process of creating is meditative, creative, and intuitive. I embrace this journey with an open heart and I am still learning, discovering new possibilities and techniques. It is healing to join threads together. It all becomes one.
Intention
My working method is primarily intuitive. Ideas come naturally when I turn inward or connect with nature. This process results in slow & mindfully handcrafted cloths.
